Crochet Fashion

The 1970s were known for bell-bottom and flare jeans but they also were a time when crochet and macrame clothing was super popular as well.  After many years of decline, crochet has been gaining popularity recently and the great dress Jennifer Aniston wears in the movie poster Just Go With It has made this trend go to the forefront.

The dress in the movie is intended as a cover up since it is quite see through but not all crochet clothing is this way. Many crochet fashions are either lined fully, lined where it is appropriate, or the crochet is a detail along the trip or sleeves. There is a huge variety of crochet clothing out there to choose from.

The fully lined
Madison Marcus Link Crochet Top
is a top that can be worn so many ways. You can pair it with jeans or pants . This top can be worn as is when the weather permits or with a great fitted jacket on colder days and nights. This is appropriate for work with a jacket or can be worn casually on the weekends.

The boho look is a very popular look right now and a good way to ease into this look is with the
Sena Crochet Wrap
. This is a great wrap to through on with a pair of jeans and a tank top or tee shirt.

The Robert Rodriguez Crochet Cropped Sweater is a must have this season. The cropped sweater is sheer so you will need to wear something underneath it. It is casual enough to wear with shorts or jeans. It is also a great pick to wear with a Maxi Skirt.

Not all crochet clothing has a soft and feminine feel to it. The
Thakoon Thakoon Addition Crochet Seam Skirt
has a bit of an edge to it with the vertical crochet seams and the contrast color hem at the bottom of this skirt.
