When I started reading that lace would be a big trend for Spring / Summer 2011, like florals, I was not too excited. I am always on the fence about lace, on one hand it can make a dress elegant and beautiful on the other hand done wrongly it can look cheesy and trashy. The latter being something one of the Rock of Love girls or any 80s groupie would wear.
