Marni was founded in 1994 by the Castiglioni family who wanted to create a place in the fashion world for itself. Marni clothing is a bit eclectic in style yet well researched and refined in construction and detail. Each season’s collection is carefully thought out and planned so that is can work with previous seasons as well. One of the most defined elements to Marni clothing is its strong and vivid prints.
The red, pink, black, and white ethnic print Marni Graphic Print Linen Dress is sleeveless and has stitched black band detailing throughout the dress. This dress is perfect to wear to work (with a cardigan covering up your exposed arms), out for drinks, or to a cocktail party.
A great print dress with a bit of a late 60s / early 70s feel to it is the Printed Dress with Leather Trim. This is an abstract print dress in red, pink, orange, black, and white has a leather trim on the hemline. A round neckline and a single pleated skirt add to the vintage look of the dress. My favorite part of the dress though are the hidden side pockets that you can place your hands in. This dress is quite busy in pattern so you will want to keep your shoes and accessories to a minimum.

Another great vintage inspired print dress is the silk dress with bow detail. This Marni dress is pink, red, and grey and has a whimsical waves print all over. A large sash bow is at the top of the dress. You can wear this dress as is or with a belt like in the image below. Like the other print dresses you will want to keep your accessories to a minimum.
If you want a less bold graphic dress, there is a great Marni Graphic Linen Dress that is vivid in detail but not in color. This linen dress is beige and yellow with black trim detailing. The dress is v-neck, though not too plunging. You can wear this dress to work or for fun.
